Here are the developed programs that will be educational, fun and increase stamina for individuals and will set them up on a proper path to wellness.

Your introductory class will be held Saturday January 24th At the Bella Moglie Building 3297 Walden Avenue Depew, NY 14043.

This Intro class is for your Change MS community and anyone involved with MS can participate. We will limit the first program to 15 people. But the introductory class can have 40 participants. At the introductory Program Day, you will learn about the program, sign up for the program and begin your journey towards a healthier life. It is our mission to “Help You Live Healthier”

Go Greens!

31451433_SDoes this sound like you – You know Greens are good for you. So you buy them when you shop thinking wonderful, healthy thoughts. Then they just sit in the fridge because you don’t know what to do with them. Well, here’s the workshop for you. Get ready to try Green Juice, Dehydrated Kale Chips, prepare a lovely Rainbow Kale Slaw and sauté those luscious greens in garlic. Beans and Greens never tasted so good. Kale, Collards, Swiss Chard and Spinach will all be on the menu. After this workshop your Greens will disappear from the fridge in the wink of an eye!
Your Greens Chef will be Barbara Ulrich, a “whole foods, plant-based diet enthusiast” who has been loving this lifestyle for over 3 years, preparing delicious meals for family and friends. ( Blender and book will be given to each attendee)
Class size is limited to 15 people.
After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2008, Barb turned her attention to learning and practicing holistic healing. She is an alumni of the Hippocrates Health Institute’s Life Transformation Program. She uses holistic care of Reiki, Acupuncture, Massage, Healing Touch, Colon Hydrotherapy, Yoga and Meditation to maintain vibrant health.

As a member of the Breast Cancer Network of Western New York and participation in a support group, it became evident that many people who could benefit from holistic healing just cannot afford it. She is now passionate about championing and advocating for the scholarship program the BWC will be undertaking as part of its overall mission.

Food Can be Thy Medicine:

Food can be medicine is a class that will be 6 sessions. During the session you will learn to jump start your health and put yourself on a path towards healing mentally, emotionally and physically (this includes all food) though this program typically runs a full 12 week course it will be broken down in 6 classes.

Life Mapping:

Life Mapping is for anyone that truly wants to achieve success. You might be an executive or the owner of a successful small business. You might be looking to find balance between the demands of work and the needs of your family. You might be an empty-nester looking to make a difference in the lives of others. You could be recently divorced or you might want to find your life partner. Whatever your circumstances the truth is that your life is in transition and we can help you turn your dreams into reality.

Just as a personal trainer would help you to work on your physical body by creating a workout routine, we create a routine to work on your Mental, Physical and Emotional body. Our belief is, you can’t treat one part of body you have to treat the “whole.”

Every thought releases brain chemicals. Being focused on negative thoughts effectively saps the brain off. It slows it down, and can go as far as dimming your brain’s ability to function, negative thoughts can even create long term depression. On the flip side, thinking positive, happy, hopeful, optimistic, joyful thoughts decreases cortisol and produces serotonin, which creates a sense of well-being. This helps your brain function at peak capacity. During this class you will work with various motivational speakers that will inspire you to be the change you want to see.

Movement, Meditation and Music

Every Day we are bombarded with news on how meditation, and exercise can help the body but what about music? In this class you will learn how sound plays an important part in healing and restoring the body. You will be introduced to meditation and walk away with tips and tricks on how to quite the brain to enjoy the meditation process. But that’s not it, you’ll also discover that even the smallest movements can help the body heal. You will learn some chair yoga positions; reflexology and you’ll also learn how to get moving with music. This class will stimulate the senses and stop the excuses: I have no time to move, meditate and be healthy.
